Founded in 1987, this nonprofit annually recognizes those who have made accomplishments in the arts at the state, national, or international level. The Milley Awards celebrate those living artists and artist-teachers who have a connection to Mill Valley, California, and who have enriched the lives of its citizens.
When Phyllis joined the Milleys board in 2004, she was able to recruit Mill Valley writer/photographer Alan Nayer to build a website pro bono, the first web presence for this organization.
In 2017, Phyllis supervised a total redesign of the website, working with web development company Iris Business Intelligence Inc. The site was launched in 2018. Phyllis wrote the content, collected the photos and descriptions.
